My Virtual Doula
Due to the success of this service during the pandemic, I decided to continue to offer a Virtual Doula service.
You may decide to hire a Virtual Doula for different reasons, for example if there are no Doulas available to offer a service in your local area or if you would rather receive a virtual service than having a Doula visiting in your home, or if you already are receiving the help and support from family members and friends and only need the extra professional information and guidance from a Doula.
I will offer you distance support and information as a Postpartum Doula. After initial contact, you will be able to book time on the phone or video conference with me via WhatsApp: 08-72142215.
After an initial FREE 30 minute consultation, I will be able to offer you text or messenger/email support for €75 per calendar month.
This fee includes WhatsApp communications (10am until 10pm, Mondays to Saturdays), research and follow up email with expertly designed resources and education.
Postpartum Doula Services include
- One initial FREE 30 minute consultation on phone or video call.
- Providing practical tools and advice in matters related to Birth plans, labour comfort measures, newborn care, postnatal mental health, physical recovery, relationships…
- Distance coaching new parents through baby care, such as bathing, nappy changes, sleep arrangements, …
- Guidance and coaching in organising the household in the early weeks postpartum, information in regards creating a Postpartum Plan.
- Infant feeding support: Breastfeeding support and advice, or bottle feeding safe guidelines and support.
- Providing accurate, up-to-date and evidence-based information in regards all aspects of baby care and mother/family care.
- Providing referrals to other professionals when/if needed. Advocacy for the mother and the family when/if needed.
- Emotional support and virtual companionship for the new mother.
- Emotional and practical support for the new father, or other close relatives.
- Phone/text message/email support.

Important: This service is strictly non-medical and will be offered within the code of practice of the Postpartum Doula. I will be providing you with emotional support as well as up-to-date information on newborn care and postpartum recovery.
